Elana Walker, DMD
Dr. Elana Walker earned her dental degree from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine (formerly known as the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ)) and continued her training in a specialty degree program in Periodontics, Implant Dentistry and Esthetics at the University of Pennsylvania, where she received her Certificate in Periodontics. She has received extensive training in the most current techniques in periodontal and implant dentistry, as well as the philosophy of periodontal-prosthesis.
Dr. Walker offers minimally invasive surgical and non-surgical treatment for gingivitis, periodontitis, and gum recession and utilizes procedures such as cosmetic periodontal surgery, dental implants, crown lengthening, gum grafting, osseous surgery, bone regeneration, bone grafting, sinus elevation, and ridge preservation. Her focus is to provide each patient with the utmost care and personal attention, striving to make every patient feel comfortable and relaxed.
Dr. Walker has been certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. An active member of the dental community, Dr. Walker has served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Pennsylvania, providing instruction in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry. In addition, Dr. Walker is affiliated with the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Periodontology, the Academy of Osseointegration, and the Delaware Valley Academy of Osseointegration.
